What type of services does Purrfurred Pet Sitters provide?

Purrfurred Pet Sitters provides daily visits to your home, motel/resort. In addition to meals, exercise, playtime and dog walking with Pet Check Technology™, we can also administer medication if needed. Additionally, we also provide home-care services. For no additional charge, we will bring in the mail or newspaper, water plants, place trash outside for pickup, and alternate the lights.

What are the advantages for my pet?

Can I get a refund if I need to cancel a scheduled pet-sitting visit?

Cancellations must be received within 24 hours of scheduled visit in order to be credited for any Purrfurred Pet Sitters services.

With the exception of severe weather, life threatening emergencies or a death in the family, any pet sitting cancellations will result in a 50% cancellation penalty on the total amount due for scheduled services. In the event of extenuating circumstances, a credit will be offered for use on future services. Credit amount must be used within six months and is not subject to refund.

What about Safety/Security?

Purrfurred Pet sitters is licensed, bonded and insured. We have developed the following procedures to ensure the safety of your pet as well as the security of your family and your home:

Pet Sitters – Dog Walkers
~ All applicants undergo a comprehensive interview process to ensure that we hire only the most talented pet service providers.

~ All pet sitters and dog walkers are thoroughly trained to follow our safety and security procedures as well as to provide outstanding service.

~ We never call attention to the fact that you are out of town or away from home by advertising on our vehicles or clothing.

Pet Safety
~ Prior to commencing the service, we ask that all pet owners complete our “Welcome Packet”, which compiles detailed information that will allow us to better care for you pet.

~ You know your pet best; therefore, we will not deviate from the care instructions you have provided. Please inform us of any special needs your pet(s) might have prior to the in-home consultation.

Home Security
~ We ask for two sets of keys. One set will be given to your pet sitter/dog walker and the other key will be coded and kept securely in our office to be used only in case of an emergency.

~ We lock the doors at all times whether we are inside or exiting your home.

~ Our Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers will respect your privacy by entering only in rooms that you have designated as acceptable for entry. They will never access any of your personal belongings unless you have deemed it necessary.

~ When pet sitting, we are happy to bring in newspapers and mail, alternate lights, and raise and lower blinds to make the home appear occupied while you are out. We are also happy to water your indoor plants upon your request.
